CIVIL VS. CRIMINAL

There are two fundamentally different types of court cases -- criminal and civil. A criminal case arises when the government seeks to punish an individual for an act that has been classified as a crime by Congress or a state legislature. A civil case, on the other hand, usually has to do with a dispute over the rights and duties that individuals and organizations legally owe to each other.

Civil Matters

This office has defended and prosecuted many business matters, contract disputes, and other types of litigations in the Civil arena. This means it is someone suing you, or you want to sue somebody regarding an act that was done to you, or an act that was not completed.

These cases may include you buying a car or receiving a car that you feel is a "Lemon". Those fall under the Lemon Law. We have success in both defending auto dealerships and personal automobile owners.

Each civil case is different, none are the same. You can contact my office and get a free consultation, and talk to me personally about your case.

I look forward to hearing from you. Call Today!
